BACKGROUND

Matt is a highly experienced B2B Enterprise Sales leader. He is a specialist within Financial Services and has built software sales organisations from scratch to leading positions within their respective sectors.

​

Matt joined Appian in 2013 as their first UK Financial Services Specialist. Starting from a blank canvas with only a couple of small Financial Services clients, Matt built and led the team over the next ten years.

​

By the time he left, Appian had a thriving UK business and could count all Tier 1 UK banks as clients. Throughout his time at Appian, Matt and his team delivered implementations across financial services, witnessing the challenges faced by clients like Barclays, HSBC, Santander and Natwest.

​

Prior to joining Appian, Matt worked across multiple sales roles within technology, honing the skills required within Enterprise sales organisations.
 

When Matt isn’t with his colleagues and clients at Inveztor, you can find him hiking, kayaking or hitting the highway in his VW camper for a weekend of camping, experiencing everything the world has to offer with his family.
